Carl Tiedemann is the CEO and owner of FM Stone Commercial. In addition, Carl is the President and CEO of the Tiedemann Group, an integrated group of real estate services companies specializing in commercial and industrial construction, asset and property management and small business incubation. The Tiedemann Group includes FM Construction, Lexington Business Centre, Inc., Eastpoint Business Centre and A.C. Tiedemann Inc. Additionally, Carl specializes in leasing and managing a portfolio of investment grade real estate.
In 1990, Carl developed and operated the first of two multi-tenant commercial/industrial buildings and small business incubators. As a result of his success with these incubators, Carl has served as a consultant to the United Nation Development Program and assisted in the development of incubators in Indonesia and Egypt. He is founder, incorporator and three term president of the Indiana Business Incubator Association and served on the Indiana Small Business Development Center's Incubator Grant and Funding Committee. He often speaks nationally on the real estate aspects of small business incubators. Carl has received the Certified Property Manager (CPM) Designation awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management and the SIOR Designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He is the past President of the Indiana SIOR Chapter and has served on the SIOR National Committees, Admissions, Budget and Financial & Global Affairs. As a Charter Member of the Northern Indiana Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Carl has served in various chapter offices, including its presidency. Carl is a member of the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
