Carey Carlson Former Director of Industrial Development for Plum Creek Timber ( Weyerhaeuser ). As an innovative leader with more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of the Marketing of Industry Development, his breadth of knowledge encompasses Land acquisitions, Leasing of industrial sites, and distribution development operations.
Carlson began his Real Estate career Working as Director of commercial and industrial development for Plum Creek timber (Now a Weyerhaeuser company) through which he honed his skills in finance in the development and marketing of large real Estate Projects.
His reputation for getting results in highly competitive markets led to his work with Lafarge N.A. General Mills, Vulcan Materials. Rockefeller Group,
Other Notable Accomplishments:
• Served on the Regional Planning Council as an appointee of Governor Jeb Bush.
• Facilitated the development and permitting of land operations for Plum Creek Timber throughout their U.S. land ownership.
• Managed the Florida operations of Ideal Cement (now known as Holcim) a Swiss-owned company headquartered in Boston.
• Managed as a former VP of sales for Independent Aggregates Company in the Florida region.
• Former president of the FICAP (Florida Independent Concrete and Associate Producers) Organization.
• Member of ACI (The American Concrete Institute) and PCA (The Portland Cement Association).
