With a career spanning 40 years in commercial real estate in North Florida, Buddy Register joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2008. Prior to joining C&W, Mr. Register founded and co-owned a Jacksonville-based commercial real estate firm specializing in marketing, management and brokerage for commercial property owners. He brings an exceptional track record of leasing, management, stabilization, and disposition of general buildings throughout the Jacksonville market. He has served numerous times as the Court Appointed Receiver for commercial properties and has brokered the sale of numerous office buildings, retail centers and multifamily properties. His diverse background allows him to tackle the many challenges faced in today’s commercial real estate market.
Mr. Register is a licensed Real Estate Broker, Community Association Manager (CAM) and certified property manager (Institute of Real Estate Management). He’s an active member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce currently serving as Trustee. He has served three terms as president of the Jacksonville Chapter of Building Owners and Manager Association (BOMA) and was President of BOMA’s Southern Conference in addition to holding various other offices. He is an active member of NAIOP and has also served as a consultant to the Duval County Zoning Department and served on the Board of the Epilepsy Foundation. Buddy is currently a member of the Healthcare Practice Group offering his experience in consulting with Healthcare providers.
