W. Bruce Knight, a native of Detroit, is a graduate of DePauw University and Wayne State University Law School. He is a member of the Michigan and Federal Bar and practices mainly in the areas of trial, business transactions and health. In 1985, he founded Advomas (Previously known as Medicaid Assistance Service) to assist his firm in processing third party payer claims. That business took on a life of its own and now process over a billion dollars each year in claims. He also participates in his other business interest in real estate. Mentoring and investing. Among his other accomplishments are forty years plus on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, twenty years of stewarding the Oakland County Indigent Hospitalization Program, writing music and nursing his knees from running.
