Bruce Aughtry earned his B.A. degree from the University of South Carolina in 1979. He joined Westminster Company in 1979 in the property management division and by 1981 was ultimately responsible for 1600 units. Bruce became a part of The Aughtry Company in 1983, serving as Sales Manager for an 80 unit up-scale townhouse development project (1200 Pelham). He is currently responsible for all retail leasing on development projects and has represented most of the major restaurant chains with site selection. He handles the marketing of commercial and rural properties throughout upstate South Carolina. He is also involved with the retail development business.
