As co-founder and principal at SunCap, Brian Mark focuses on deal negotiations, due diligence, and asset management. He has 24 years of experience in acquiring, managing, and disposing of commercial real estate properties. At SunCap, he oversees all accounting, financial reporting, lease negotiations, and tenant relations. Mr. Mark has spearheaded over $1.0 billion of real estate acquisitions since 1997. He was responsible for directing the financial reporting for DIM Vastgoed, N.V., a publicly traded real estate fund on the Euronext Stock Exchange in Holland with a $500M+ portfolio. Mr. Mark was also a founding partner of Avison Young-Florida where he led the growth of this real estate services company increasing revenue 10x over a six year period.
Mr. Mark received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a Masters of Science in Accounting from American University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Mark serves on the board of two organizations: Youth Activity Center as Treasurer and the 22Q.11 South Florida Chapter as Financial Officer.
