Bio
With a family history rooted in real estate, development, construction, and finance, it was only natural that Brian would follow a similar path into the real estate industry. A lifelong resident of Gainesville / Hall County, Brian began his real estate career during the Great Recession of 2008 with The Simpson Company in Gainesville, GA. He remained with the firm through its merger with Avison Young in 2021 until co-founding Candler Real Estate Group with his three partners in 2022.
As a recipient of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, Brian focuses primarily on investment sales as well as sales and leasing of office and industrial properties throughout northeast Georgia and metro Atlanta. He has also developed extensive experience working with other asset types in the commercial real estate industry including retail, commercial land, recreational land, and apartments.
Brian is a life member and recipient of the ACBR Million Dollar Club’s “Phoenix Award” for qualifying for the Million Dollar Club for ten years or more. He also received his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation in 2012.
Brian currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Georgia Mountains YMCA in Gainesville, as well as on the Georgia CCIM Board of Directors. He previously served on the Georgia Mountain Food Bank board of directors for three years as well as the United Way Capital Campaign Committee. Other past board positions include serving on the executive board of directors for the Gainesville Jaycees, and finance committee for Gainesville First United Methodist Church. He is also a 2013 – 2014 graduate of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Hall program.
Brian is a lifelong resident of Gainesville / Hall County where he graduated from Gainesville High School. He attended and graduated with honors from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2008. Brian, his wife, Callie, and their three children reside in Gainesville, Georgia and attend Gainesville First United Methodist Church. In his free time, you will usually find Brian outdoors playing golf, hunting, watching his children playing sports, or spending time traveling with his family.
