Bio
Brett Rimkus serves as Singlewire Software's Chief Financial Officer. Having participated in the March 2009 company formation, he currently is responsible for finance, human resources, and legal aspects of operations.
From 1997 to 2006, Brett served as Chief Financial Officer for a regional technology reseller and managed service provider. During his tenure, revenues grew from $18 million to nearly $500 million. In 2006, the company was acquired by a Fortune 500 company and Brett co-led the integration of the companies and served in various executive positions through 2008.
Prior to these roles, Brett gained more than 12 years of experience working in the public accounting industry.
Brett graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting. He holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Brett is a founding director of the Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce and served on its board of directors for five years. He also serves on the advisory board for Cascade Asset Management LLC, on Madison Development Corporation’s Venture Debt Fund Advisory Committee, and as Treasurer for Technology Education Foundation. He is active in a public school site council, parent-teacher organization, and coaching youth basketball.
