Brett joined Slate in 2019. He is responsible for the management of Slate's Calgary assets including oversight of leasing and third-party property management professionals, preparation of annual operating budgets, and execution and approval of capital spending and leasing programs.
Prior to Slate, Brett oversaw the leasing at Aspen Properties which consisted of a portfolio comprising of nearly 4M square feet of office space in both Calgary and Edmonton.
Brett is a Senior Vice President at Cresa in the Calgary office. Brett has been practicing commercial real estate since 2010 with a focus on downtown Calgary office product. Prior to joining Cresa, Brett spent eight years working on behalf of institutional landlords, the most recent of which saw him in the role as Vice President, Asset Management at Slate Asset Management where he oversaw the leasing, capital, redevelopment, taxes, reporting, appraisals, and financing of 2M square feet of office towers in Calgary’s downtown core.
