Brandon Berk, Director of Property Management & Leasing, has been in commercial real estate for 15 years handling shopping centers, general office buildings and medical office buildings in multiple states. Prior to forming Lighthouse Brandon was Director of Property Management at HealthAmerica Realty Group, LLC. At HealthAmerica Brandon handled all Property Management functions, Lease Administration, Construction Management and Staffing. Prior to March 2008, Brandon was employed as a general manager with Healthcare REIT, Inc. and Windrose Medical Properties Trust. His role with HCN was in regional property management, leasing and due diligence. His previous experience was in Class 'A' high rise office property management in New York City and shopping center management, leasing and development in Atlanta. Brandon holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). He is an expert in energy efficiency initiatives including lighting retrofits, sustainable operations management and cost reductions by using energy management systems. Brandon is active in the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), BOMA, Commercial Real Estate Board of Georgia, National Association of Realtors, UGA Alumni Association, NYIT Alumni Association, Atlanta Track Club and New York Road Runners Club.
