During the past 25 years he has served as the project executive on several headquarters assignments and strategic relationships. Mr. Werner’s experience includes the analysis and negotiation of complex lease structures, management of multiple transaction assignments, marketing properties for disposition, strategic planning, and construction supervision.
Mr. Werner is recognized as an expert in his field, and has published articles and is frequently quoted in several major national and regional publications. He is a co-author of the BayBio Real Estate Survey, a comprehensive look at how life science companies rate space issues and other factors which affect their occupancy.
Mr. Werner’s clients include many major law firms and technology companies. He recently completed lease transactions for firms such as Kenyon & Kenyon, Kilpatrick Townsend, K&L Gates, and Mayer Brown. His most significant assignments include leases for Hyperion Solutions (140,000 square feet), Accenture (125,000 square feet), TSMC (110,000 square feet), CMGi (105,000 square feet-San Francisco), CMGi (100,000 square feet-New York), McAfee (100,000 square feet), and Ikanos Communications (75,000 square feet)
