Bio
Brad LaRue has over 20 years of experience in development, asset mangement, and acquisitions of commerical real estate. Brad has specialized in retail and mixed use projects, but also has extensive experience with office, multi-family and office/flex product types.
Over his career he has been involved in the development and, or, asset management of 10 million SF of retail, 2 million SF office, and over 1,000 multi-family and condominium units in markets across the United States. His retail experience spans the range of smaller ground-up out-parcel developments to redeveloping super-regional enclosed malls.
His extensive range of experience includes working for two prominent institutional real estate investment advisors, portfolio manager for a REIT, and several private entrepreneurial developers. Before joining United Growth Brad was a partner and COO of a private bay area based developer, and was responsible for a 77 acre mixed-use development. Additionally, Brad headed the development group for Rawson, Blum & Leon (RBL), a private firm based in San Francisco. One of the projects Brad directed at RBL was the highly successful redevelopment of the 850,000 sq. ft. Village at Orange
Brad holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California where he completed the Real Property Development and Management Program. He is also a licensed California real estate broker. Brad has spoken at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and the International Real Estate Management Association (IREM). He has been an active member of the International Council of shopping Centers (ICSC) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
