2017 to Present: Blake Shipp is the co-founder and Managing Principal of Capitol Peak Ventures and oversees the day to day operations and development for the company.
{2007 – 2016}: The Weitzman Group: Blake was the Managing Director of Brokerage for Weitzman, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm and one of the largest retail real estate brokerage firms in Texas. In this position, he managed and directed the growth for the company’s representation, project leasing, tenant advisory and investment brokerage activities. Prior to his role as Managing Director, Shipp was the Director of Leasing and responsible for managing a portfolio of more than 44 million square feet throughout the state. He consistently ranked as a statewide top producer and has negotiated transactions across all asset classes of commercial real estate. Blake is a licensed broker and is a board member of the Friends of the Katy Trail and is a member of The Oak Lawn Committee.
