Blake Hastings is an accomplished Executive Vice President within the Occupier Advisory & Transaction Services Group at CBRE, where he plays a pivotal role in enhancing the strategic and operational capabilities of the firm's top-performing tenant representation team alongside Tad Jellison and John Lorence. With a career spanning over two decades in the commercial real estate sector, Blake brings an unparalleled depth of experience and a comprehensive understanding of both advisory and development aspects to his role. Before his current position, Blake significantly contributed to CBRE's success as Managing Director of the Minneapolis office from 2013 to 2018. In this role, he was instrumental in setting the strategic direction and providing leadership for nearly 250 employees. Following this tenure, he served as President at Oppidan, a prominent national property development firm, where he was responsible for overseeing business operations and strategic planning across its offices in Excelsior, Minnesota; Raleigh, North Carolina; and San Jose, California. Blake's illustrious career is marked by a series of accolades, including being named CBRE Market Leader of the Year, featured in Twin Cities Business's Top 100 People to Know, and earning a spot on the Minneapolis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list. Beyond his professional achievements, Blake has demonstrated a commitment to community service, holding former presidencies at Rein in Sarcoma and the Young Presidents’ Organization. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University.
