Mr. Barge is founder and President of Barge Properties Management Co., Ltd. His responsibilities include property acquisition, and financing for income properties and land development. Mr. Barge’s experience includes co-founding Charter Management Co., Texas’ largest property management firm. Barge Properties presently operates only company-owned properties with the exception of apartments owned by Temple College where Mr. Barge is the president of the college’s Foundation Board. He has developed 15 subdivisions and the company currently manages over 3,000 income units.With two partners, Mr. Barge is the largest shareholder in Independent Bank, a $170 million bank with branches in Georgetown and Lakeway. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
