Bio
Betsy moved to Gainesville in 1974. After graduating from high school, she left Gainesville to pursue a business education at Duke University and an MBA in marketing from The Wharton School of Business. After a twelve-year career in pharmaceutical marketing research and consulting, she returned to her hometown Gainesville and pursued her interest in real estate. Having been a real estate investor for years, she turned her passion into a career by becoming a full-time Realtor.
Betsy soon became a broker, opened Pepine Realty, and began building a robust real estate team, helping businesses and families with their relocation, second-home purchases, primary residences, office, and commercial needs. In 2017, the Wall Street Journal recognized Betsy's team as one of the top 250 highest producing teams in the USA. Her brokerage also won Large Business of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce and the community voted Pepine Realty "Best of the Best" Real Estate Brokerage. Betsy is endorsed and mentored by Barbara Corcoran of Shark Tank.
Her team stays highly active in the community, volunteering regularly in the communities that have supported them.
Personally, in addition to working full time as a broker of real estate, Betsy is an active volunteer in the community, earning her the Impact Award in 2016 by Business in the Heart of Gainesville. Betsy has served on numerous boards and has been active teaching Gainesville's youth at church, assisting with homelessness in the community and has raised several guide dogs for the blind. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, running, traveling, wine, cooking and reading. Most importantly, Betsy has two daughters and rescue dogs with whom she devotes considerable time.
