Benjamin Smith is a Senior Vice President of Occupier Advisory & Transaction Services for the Greater Washington, D.C. region of CBRE. Ben has over a decade of experience, specifically in tenant representation, focusing on providing strategic advisory services to a diverse clientele including associations, technology companies and government contractors. As a Senior Vice President, his primary responsibilities include assisting companies to identify maximum leverage, value, and savings in a real estate transaction. Ben is instrumental in the creation of solutions that facilitate an efficient real estate process, with an understanding of the importance of culture, flexibility and cost. Ben’s reputation has been built on integrity, attention to detail, and lasting client relationships. Prior to joining CBRE in 2021, Ben served as a Senior Managing Director at MGA, Inc. for ten years, where he was involved in numerous high-profile real estate transactions and helped mentor the firms young associates. Outside of the office Ben is a proud supporter of National Links Trust and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. Ben lives with his wife Kate and their two yellow labs, Maggie and Tate, in Chevy Chase, MD. He is still reconsidering naming a dog Tate as his wife’s name is Kate.
