Benjamin Weiner is a Vice President with RIPCO Real Estate, after joining the company as an Associate in 2014. He is based in the company’s downtown Brooklyn office, and focuses nearly exclusively on the New York City outer borough markets.
Benjamin has orchestrated several significant transactions throughout Brooklyn, such as Blue Bottle Coffee’s 17,000-SF Bushwick headquarters, Thalmic Lab’s flagship retail location at 178 Court Street, and a 12,000-SF shopping center addition at Caesar’s Bay in Sheepshead Bay. He has also developed tenant relationships with notable Brooklyn-based names such as Mile End Deli, Butler and Co., as well as national boutique brands like Club Pilates, and One Kings Lane.
In 2018, Benjamin was named one of the Commercial Observer’s “30 under 30: The Top Leasing and Sale Professionals of the Year”. He is the president of Engeye Young Professionals Committee, a non-profit organization (of which he also sits on the fundraising board) that aims to ensure health and education in rural Uganda, where as a college student, he lived for 10 months working on social entrepreneurship projects and teaching at local schools.
Benjamin is a licensed Salesperson in the state of New York and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is from Northern New Jersey and attended Union College where he was a two-time captain of the college’s Swimming and Diving Team. He graduated in 2013 as a Minerva Fellow.
