Barbara Eddington serves as Director of Helmsley Spear, LLC focusing on Tenant Representation.
Ms. Eddington is a seasoned real estate professional with over thirty-five years of experience in the commercial real estate field, specializing in tenant representation. She is highly regarded in the real estate profession by her colleagues and the many tenants whom she has represented over the years.
Prior to joining Helmsley, Ms. Eddington was a Senior Agent at Murray Hill Properties (MHP), representing tenants, as well as a leasing agent on commercial properties owned and managed by MHP. In addition, Ms. Eddington performed the duties of exclusive leasing agent for 145 West 45th Street, in the heart of the entertainment district, and 12 East 41st Street, known as The Real Estate Board Building.
Ms. Eddington began her real estate career with the real estate brokerage firm of Cross & Brown, as a commercial real estate leasing agent. Ms. Eddington has a prestigious rooster of tenants whom she has represented over the years —and has received recognition in real estate publications for her outstanding performance in tenant representation. Ms. Eddington has been mentioned in The Real Deal” Real Estate Weekly, and The Commercial Observer.
Ms. Eddington is an active member of The Real Estate Board of New York, and member of the Grand Central Committee for REBNY. She continues her work on behalf of non-profit organizations including The Authors Guild (Authors League of America), The Arthur W. Page Society and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. She was awarded the Real Estate Board’s Certificate of Appreciation for her generous volunteer work in organizations as the Caring Community and JASPA.
