Bio
Avery Klann is a vice chairman with Newmark Knight Frank where he leads the South Florida multifamily investment sales team based in Boca Raton. With more than 14 years of real estate experience at Newmark Knight Frank, Avery and his team manage the disposition of multihousing properties throughout South Florida. He also arranges joint venture equity and capital for acquisition and development projects throughout South Florida. Since joining Newmark Knight Frank in 2002, Mr. Klann has been actively involved in the sale of over $10 billion in multihousing transactions.
Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Avery was a consultant with Accenture, where he assisted regional banks, investment banks and other financial services clients in developing business strategies, financial models and business plans.
Mr. Klann is a member of Urban Land Institute and a board member of University of Florida’s Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies. He has been recognized by numerous industry publications and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Avery has been actively involved in fundraising for the Center for Family Services and the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Mr. Klann graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and real estate. He has completed the Real Estate Management Program at Harvard Business School.
