Bio
Austin Gottsacker started with SimonCRE in 2015 as a Development Associate, in January 2017 was named Acquisitions and Leasing Manager, and in 2022 was named Director of Acquisitions and Leasing. As Director of Acquisitions and Leasing, Austin works with the CEO, tenants, and brokers to execute client requirements as well as manage the in-house outreach and due diligence for the company’s projects. Austin is also responsible for the site investigation, underwriting, budgeting, site planning, and managing relationships for the company’s vendors and consultants. Austin then follows projects through the entitlement process to aid in a variety of challenges and help keep projects on schedule and on budget.
Prior to SimonCRE, Austin worked with the Russell Shaw Group negotiating contracts and managing more than 75 active listings. He also worked with Goddes Homes, a residential real estate firm, where he was a real estate agent throughout his time at Arizona State University.
Austin holds a degree in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, is an active member of Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Scottsdale Active 20-30 Club. Austin also holds an Arizona Real Estate License.
