Austin M. Dempsey, CEO of Batavia Enterprises, Inc. is a 1997 graduate of Marmion Military Academy in Aurora. After High School, he attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in Marketing. During his time at Butler University he founded a chapter of Delta Tau Delta where he served as President. Mr. Dempsey was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honors business fraternity of Butler University and is currently a member of the Chicago chapter. He also has obtained his Masters of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Management and Finance from Loyola University – Chicago. Mr. Dempsey was previously employed by The Centro Properties Group (formerly known as Heritage Property Investment Trust) in Northbrook, Illinois as an Asset Manager. He was responsible for 4.5 Million square feet of real estate interests of Centro in Michigan and the Chicago metropolitan area. Prior to joining Centro, Mr. Dempsey was the Leasing Coordinator for Duke Realty Corporation in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Dempsey’s affiliations within the commercial real estate industry include the International Council of Shopping Centers and several local commercial real estate business groups. Mr. Dempsey is currently active in the local community. He sits on the Board of Directors for Batavia Enterprises, Inc., the Batavia Arts Center, and the Batavia Downtown Partnership Group. Mr. Dempsey is also a Co-Chair for the Batavia MainStreet Economic Redevelopment committee and he is an active member of the Knights of Columbus – Batavia Council. As Vice President, Mr. Dempsey directs and coordinates activities to successfully manage the business operations while assisting the President with all facets of effectively running the company. Batavia Enterprises, Inc. specializes in the development, leasing and management of properties throughout the Fox Valley. The company has been awarded and recognized for their restorations of historic buildings in addition to providing new buildings to keep up with market demands.
