Art Makris leads Hillwood's expanding industrial business across the Northeast region of the U.S., including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, D.C., Virginia, and New England. He is focusing on developing the company's portfolio in coastal high barrier markets.
Art has been in the industrial real estate business for over 25 years. Before joining Hillwood, he was with Duke Realty, serving as Regional President in the Northeast. During his time at Duke, he developed over 20 million square feet of industrial space in high barrier markets and led the effort to create a $2 billion future development pipeline. He is strongly recognized for his skills in recruiting, developing, and retaining strong teams.
