Arnold King was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University in 1967 and served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970. His business experience has included a 20-year career in the transportation industry, ten (10) years in the retail industry and the past twenty (20) years as a commercial real estate broker. He established AK Commercial Realty in 1998. He and his wife Kimberly reside in Kernersville where he is actively involved in the community in a wide variety of civic activities.
