Anthony “Tony” DeRosa, a native of South Florida, began his career in real estate while still in college at the University of South Florida. Tony began his commercial real estate career with First Commercial Realty, Inc. There he became a top producer and expert of Miami International Commerce Center, a 4.2 million square foot mixed-use project, and the grandfather of Airport West industrial parks. He has been in the heart of the booming Miami Airport industrial arena ever since.
In 1993 Tony founded WestVest Associates, Inc. a firm dedicated to commercial properties in Miami-Dade County. Today, WestVest Associates, Inc. is one of the leading independently owned firms in the area. WestVest Associates, Inc. chooses to focus on servicing the niche of the growing smaller to medium sized international businesses in the Airport West marketplace. In order to sustain itself as a market leader, Tony has developed an organization combining the latest technology with an old fashioned approach to personalized business service.
With hundreds of millions dollars in commercial production, Tony has been instrumental in the landscape of the Miami Airport West Industrial area. Over the past few years, Tony has expanded into land and retail development projects throughout South Florida. Tony is the president of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Greater Miami and the Beaches, the leading commercial real estate chamber of commerce. In addition, Tony is a director of the Florida Association of Realtors and a member of the Industrial Association of Dade County, the International Council of Shopping Centers and Doral Airport West Chamber of Commerce.
Most recently, Tony has expanded his scope of Real Estate to include Land Development, Office Development, Retail Development and Property Management. He is currently working on a single family home development in Cutler Ridge, among others and has been part of the development of several commercial projects and retail shopping centers throughout S. Florida. Additionally, WestVest Associates is part owner and manages the newest flex properties in the Doral area; Doral Flex I and II. Tony is the Past-President of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Greater Miami and the Beaches, the leading commercial real estate chamber of commerce. In addition, Tony is a director of the Florida Association of Realtors, a member of the Industrial Association of Dade County, the International Council of Shopping Centers, One Doral, Doral Business Council, and Doral Airport West Chamber of Commerce.
