Anthony Burns is the founding partner of Virtus Partners Miami office specializing in tenant representation for both national and local clients. Anthony is a 28-year industry veteran in industrial tenant representation whose strategic advisory has earned multiple awards for outstanding commercial real estate transactions among his peers.
Anthony’s experience spans all facets of industrial real estate, from site selection, incentives and entitlements to land assemblage, build-to-suits, cost segregation, sales, leases and sale-leasebacks. He has extensive experience in food facilities and is also a recognized expert in City of Chicago redevelopment and applying re-adaptive uses.
Anthony formed Virtus Partners in 2023 from Sydney Investments since 2006, where he was Principal. Prior to that, he was senior vice president at Cushman & Wakefield Chicago, where he worked for over six years. Earlier in his career, he was a founding member of NAI Hiffman Chicago, the largest office in the NAI Global network.
