Bio
Andrew Lau serves as Director of Sand Capital and has over nine years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions. His responsibilities with Sand Capital include selecting and sourcing investments for Sand Capital as well as managing and serving the acquisitions team. In addition, Andrew is responsible for servicing acquired notes and managing acquired properties through disposition.
Prior to joining Sand Capital, Andrew was a Sales and Finance Associate with Opus Northwest LLC in Minneapolis, specializing in analyzing development prospects and identifying sources of funding. Andrew also previously served as Research Analyst with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial in Phoenix and with Opus West Corporation in Phoenix. Andrew earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Business/Justice Studies from Arizona State University and a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
