Andrew Gerhard joined Beacon Investment Real Estate after working with it Principals, Bob Farrell and Joe Dietz at Orion Investment Real Estate.
Prior to entering the commercial real estate field, Andrew enjoyed a successful business career including international leadership positions with Cold Stone Creamery, Kahala Brands and GNC. Focusing on business growth and market expansion, Andrew launched several US brands in Singapore, Thailand, Scandinavia, Latin America, the Mediterranean, with additional concept and product launches in China, Taiwan, Malaysia and the Caribbean.
With the lion’s share of his experience abroad in the Asia-Pacific region, Mr. Gerhard directed overall business sales operations with annual retail and wholesale revenues averaging over $159M, and successfully brokered numerous import/export and supply agreements with international franchisees and licensees.
Over the years Andrew has invested in multifamily property and land; during this time, he developed an eye and passion for identifying commercial real estate opportunities.
Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin before attending UT’s Graduate School of Architecture and Planning, he spent time working at the Texas General Land Office, with a concentration in land development and statistical analysis.
On a personal note, Andrew is an avid runner and completes in long distance races and trail runs.
