Bio
Andrew Thorpe Denton is the Sr. Vice President for The Overton Group and has been with the firm since 2015. Andrew was named Sr. Vice President with The Overton Group in 2018. In his role, Andrew oversees the operations of the company’s full-service capabilities for advising and managing clients’ commercial real estate properties and portfolios. Additionally, Andrew represents several clients, with their leasing, brokerage, development, and investment sales needs across North Carolina.
In addition, Andrew assists national, regional, and local tenants and developers with site selection, expansion, disposition, and development. Assisting them from the beginning process of market analysis all the way to closing of the property. Andrew also works with several clients on commercial property acquisitions and dispositions in the Eastern North Carolina and Southeastern US markets.
Andrew is a CCIM Designee and a member of the NC CCIM Chapter. In addition, he is a member of ICSC, C-12, National Association of Realtors, Cape Fear Realtors Association, and the Pirate Club.
Andrew was born and raised in Wilson, North Carolina. In 2009 he moved to Greenville to attend East Carolina University (ECU) earned a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Andrew and his wife, Brie, live in Greenville, with their son Beau and their two dogs, Lacy and Bailey. In their spare time, they enjoy attending East Carolina Pirate Athletic Events, playing golf, and spending time on the water.
