Mr. Abramson is the second generation president of The Value Group, which was established by his father, Harold Abramson. Prior to holding his position as president, Mr. Abramson served as construction and property manager for a number of the firm’s affiliates, overseeing the staff and construction of hundreds of new homes in Florida and New Jersey.
In 1986, he became president and has since increased the firm’s portfolio, developed new approaches for more efficient and cost effective property management services, introduced unique building designs and techniques, and continued a well-established reputation for innovation and excellence in the property management and construction and development industries. During his tenure, the firm has garnered numerous accolades and continues to be one of the top property management and construction firm’s in the tri-state area.
Mr. Abramson holds an MS and BS in Civil Engineering from Cornell University in New York. He is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey and New York and a member of the Institute of Real Estate Marketing (MIRM.) He is a past president of the New Jersey Apartment Association and a member of the New Jersey Builders Association, New Jersey Association of REALTORS and Cornell University Real Estate Council. Mr. Abramson also serves on the board of directors of Valley National Bancorp, one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in New Jersey.
