Andrea has a variety of entrepreneurial experience. She is the owner and developer of the new Compass Commercial Center (formally Island Screenworks) on Highway 707. Prior to that, she was the owner and operator of Wacca Wache Marina in Murrells Inlet. While living in Fort Lauderdale, FL she and her husband developed and built 65’ tankships, the smallest double-hulled, US Coast Guard approved tankships in the United States. The tankships operate today in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, West Palm Beach and San Diego. Andrea spent five years as a management consultant for Andersen Consulting; her clients include Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, American Express, the New England Power Pool and Northeast Utilities. She holds a BS in Marketing from Bryant College and a Masters in Organizational Behavior from the University of Hartford.
