Bio
Anyone who has attended a cultural event at the Allen Theater in Cleveland has appreciated the work of Allen Wiant. Allen’s reputation for creativity, consensus building and strategic thinking led the Playhouse Square Foundation to tap him when they needed help with the eleventh-hour rescue of this historic Cleveland landmark. Allen has 22 years of experience in the commercial real estate brokerage business. In 1989, he and Robert Brandon collaborated with partner Richard H. Adler to market the office properties for the Jacobs Group. The threesome, then known as Richard H. Adler Associates, met several daunting challenges that included filling the high-profile, 1.5-million sq. ft., 57-story Society Center and repositioning 800 Superior Avenue and The Tower at Erieview. In 1992, the Jacobs group took the leasing of its properties back in house and Richard H. Adler chose to retire. By then, Allen and Bob had built a solid reputation as a formidable duo, widely recognized for their ability to structure complex deals with creativity and financial finesse. They formed a new partnership under the name Brandon/Wiant Co., today known as Brandon Wiant Converse, Ltd.
