Bio
Prior to joining 7 Hills, Ali spent eight years at Divaris Real Estate working in corporate real estate. She managed the leasing for a large portfolio of retail and office properties in central and southwestern Virginia where she was responsible for property marketing, aligning of the assets, prospecting, and lease negotiations. She also represented local and national retail tenants in completing complex market analysis and positioning strategies, to site selection and contract negotiations.
Growing up in the Richmond area provides Ali with an in-depth knowledge of the market and she prides herself on helping the retail and office communities flourish in her hometown. She is excited to focus solely on her passion of tenant representation while at 7 Hills and will continue to service her clients with best-in-class practices and a conflict-free approach.
Ali graduated from the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech with a degree in Urban Affairs and Planning. She keeps busy with involvements in Better Housing Coalition’s Young Professional Board (BHCyp), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has served on the Board of the Commercial Real Estate For Women Network (CREW Richmond). She also volunteers at Anna Julia Cooper School. She spends her free time with her family – her husband and two young daughters, and most typically can be found on a tennis court, somewhere on the James River Park System, or trying the many excellent restaurants Richmond has to offer.
