Alex's passion is taking the processes, strategies, and technologies honed over 11 years of experience servicing some of the firm's largest accounts and scaling them down to high-growth companies seeking their first or second office spaces in order to best position them for long-term success with their next office(s) on the firm's scalable platform.
In 2012, Alex aided in the creation of the firm's national High-Growth Services Group to deploy firm resources to, as well as establish best practices for, the specific needs of high-growth technology occupiers.?
A transplant from Washington, DC, Alex cut his teeth as a financial analyst for major corporate accounts in the region. During his DC tenure, in 2007 Alex served as a founding member of the Law Firm Services Group -- a brokerage line dedicated to developing specialized occupancy strategies for law firms in a rapidly changing legal services environment.
Then he caught the startup bug himself…
Alex knows the particular challenges facing startups and fast-growing technology companies first-hand. In 2013, alongside his brokerage role at JLL, Alex conceptualized and co-founded HiRise (www.hirise.com), a peer to peer marketplace for small suites and under-utilized office space. HiRise is now a wholly owned subsidiary of JLL.
Alex advises clients on an international multi-market basis, but currently focuses his practice locally in San Francisco, CA.
