For the last 35 years, Abramson Brothers has been run by Alan B. Abramson, who joined the firm in 1972. Shortly after he joined the firm, the City of New York went through the fiscal crisis of the 1970s. That was the environment in which he learned his craft. He is a graduate of Oberlin College and Columbia University School of Law.
