A partner in Retail West's Lafayette, CA office, AJ has been involved in over 200 lease and sale transactions in the past six years. His in-depth knowledge of the Bay Area’s retail landscape has led to his successful representation of major national retailers Ashley Furniture, Peet’s Coffee, FedEx Office, Clean Juice, Supercuts, Massage Envy, C2 Education, as well as emerging retailers including SLIVER Pizzeria, Out of the Barrell Taproom, The American Grilled Cheese Kitchen, Club Champion and more. In addition to his Tenant representation business, AJ is a leading Landlord representation broker with high profile projects across the Bay Area. Current and past shopping center project leasing including Alto Center in Mill Valley, Montecito Plaza in San Rafael, Crow Canyon Commons in San Ramon, and Eastbay Bridge Center in Emeryville. In recent years his expertise has expanded to the urban mixed-use arena, executing the leasing efforts for several high profile projects in the urban fabric of Berkeley, Oakland, San Jose and San Mateo. His landlord relationships include Wilson Meany, Mill Creek Residential, Rockwood Capital, ADIA, Harvest Properties, Landmark Properties, Federal Realty, The Austin Group, First Washington Realty, Duckett-Wilson, Seagate Properties, etc. AJ grew up in Northern California’s East Bay and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics and a minor in Sports Management. AJ enjoys spending his free time with his wife, two young children, family and friends at their home in Alamo, feeding his CrossFit addiction, or exploring nature on a camping adventure or on the family's wakeboard boat.
