Current Occupation:Real EstateWork Experience:Mr. Carson literally grew up in the construction industry, spending time on high-rise building sites with his father who worked for Hoffman Construction practically from the time he could walk.
By the time Mr. Carson was a teenager, he spent every summer working construction projects, learning the basics about how a building is successfully completed from original design to final completion. While in his 20 s, Mr. Carson worked as a carpenter apprentice for such companies as Hoffman Construction and Ryland International on multiple hi-rise and multifamily projects in the Portland Oregon market.
With the goal of assembling the rest of the skills necessary to become a successful builder/ developer, Aaron expended the effort and obtained his Mortgage Brokers license and Real Estate License in the early 90 s and went on to learn everything possible about the real estate and mortgage lending industries, and the latest technological advancements necessary to support a full-service development firm.
In the late-90s, despite a downturn in the construction industry, Mr. Carson started his own construction company. This new business quickly outgrew its modest office location in Aaron s own home and into a 3,000 square foot office. Later, this business and others would expand in to a 18,000 square foot office.
Since that time, Aaron s efforts have grown two additional construction and development companies into highly profitable, high volume ventures.
As the original principle Mr. Carson is the original architect of Carson Companies Inc. aka National Developers Group of Companies, Inc. cutting-edge end-to-end real estate development services business model.
Mr. Carson concluded early in his construction industry career that, while being a general contractor for any project is both profitable and rewarding, the optimal construction company scenario is to be your own client.
Translating this concept into business model terms, Mr. Carson helped create a development company that would garner the greatest financial benefit by participating in both the ownership and construction of a project.
Impressively, Mr. Carson, in conjunction with the other senior employees, took this principle yet another step further. They realized that turning their operation into a true one-stop real estate development company handling all functions from original project design through final lease or sale would provide their company with a portfolio of profit centers.
Also, the portfolio of development services business model approach maximized the company s profit growth potential, and also diversified the risk associated with the company s future profit stream.
In sum, design, land acquisition, residential and commercial construction, property management, and full real estate brokerage services are the primary services that comprise Mr. Carson s concept of the ideal development services company.
