Tierra Encantada is the leader in Spanish Immersion Early Education®. We provide care for children 6 weeks through 6 years of age. We set ourselves apart from other daycares and preschools through not only our language immersion curriculum, but our approach with day to day operations. From cloth diapers in our classrooms to fresh-cooked, organic food designed to expand young palates, we strive to provide a wholesome environment that parents consider to be a second home for their children.
As our population continues to grow and more households have two parents in the workforce, the demand for childcare will continue to increase. Families in metropolitan areas already see months – if not years – long waiting lists to enroll their children in high quality early education programs. Tierra’s own Minneapolis locations see waiting lists well over a year long. With many markets not offering families a language immersion childcare option, Tierra will not only satisfy some of the immense demand for this growing market, it will provide parents an option they are excited about for their children.

History
Kristen Denzer founded Tierra Encantada in 2013, inspired by her own need for high-quality childcare. With a vision of creating a warm, welcoming "second home" for children, she wanted parents to feel excited and confident about sharing it with their little ones. Knowing her own children would be attending, she poured her heart and soul into crafting a program that offered the best—nutritious organic meals to expand young palates and a language-immersive environment to nurture future global citizens. After the first center quickly filled with a waiting list, Kristen expanded to a second location, which was fully enrolled within two months. The third Tierra Encantada, the largest yet, was already at capacity before it even opened its doors. As the demand for exceptional, language-immersion childcare grows, Tierra Encantada is thrilled to partner with franchisees to bring this special experience to families across the country.
