New franchisees attend a 5-day intensive business training that includes the LearningRx programs, center operations, marketing and sales training, and more. History
Founded by Pediatric Optometrist, Dr. Ken Gibson, LearningRx has been franchising since 2003 and has helped more than 115,000 clients. Dr. Gibson was searching for a solution to reading struggles and created a one-on-one brain training methodology that incorporates intensity, feedback, and mental activities to increase the cognitive skills needed to think, learn, and perform.
Over the years, our focus has been to support the needs of our franchise system. Early on, we grew the number of franchised centers, learning along the way who were the best-qualified franchise candidates for success. We focused on our messaging and helping families understand our concept. As the brain training industry grew, our focus turned to producing high-quality, peer-reviewed research that showed evidence of the efficacy of our programs. With over 40 studies completed and 18 studies peer-reviewed and published, we then shifted our attention to improving our use of technology and providing remote training. This positioned us perfectly when the Covid-19 pandemic hit; our centers were able to continue to train students even during lock-downs.
With years of system improvements, a strong business foundation, and tens of thousands of happy clients, we are now focused on strategic growth, with a goal to achieve 300,000 brains trained over the next 10 years. We are pursuing well-qualified franchise candidates with strong marketing skills who are passionate about helping families in their communities.
