History

Randal grew up in rough lower income areas around Richmond, VA, and later moved to Myrtle Beach, SC with his mom and younger brother looking for a better life. He went to school and began his business career by opening his first auto restyling shop. Randal also obtained his real estate license which he thought would be his actual career. This was a key highlight of his business and industry knowledge. Randal found his success in the Myrtle Beach market and quickly become the #1 tint and audio shop in the Grand Strand.

In 2014 Randal decided he wanted to open the 1st Black Optix Tint store in his hometown of Richmond VA. It quickly became the#1 tint shop in the area. The business model spread like wildfire and developed into the multimillion-dollar franchise you see today. When we met with Randal, we asked him what would set Black Optix Tint apart from other tint and audio companies.
