Overview
With a focus on smaller facilities designed to feel like home, the BeeHive Homes model is unique. It has been our way from the very first home to take a very personal approach to assisted living care services. Having refined and improved our model for over thirty years, we have created an environment that allows our owners, staff, and residents the opportunity to become a family. Because of each facility’s physical size, the staffing, and the orientation of our homes, BeeHive Homes takes every measure possible to provide individualized assisted living care according to the needs and desires of each resident.
Our residents live in a family environment where they can enrich themselves, benefit others, and thrive in a caring setting. This is why we say that BeeHive Homes is truly “The Next Best Place to Home.”

Why Choose BeeHive Homes?
BeeHive Homes is an industry leader in senior assisted living care. Our franchisees are well trained and become part of a growing networked community of care providers that support and help one another. At a BeeHive Homes assisted living franchise, residents, staff, and owners benefit from the experience of decades of refining the most effective care procedures, implementing appropriate operational policies, developing productive activities, complying with regulations, and providing oversight capability to help the franchisee provide truly excellent care combined with a small home setting.
Many corporations are providing assisted living in large planned communities. These facilities can house well over 200 residents and become overwhelming and impersonal to many residents and their families.
Across the country, a BeeHive Homes assisted living franchise in many ways feels like a real home. Residents and families feel they are part of a normal, functioning home, with a familiar dining room table, front porch, and backyard. Our homes are small by design, (16 and 20 bedroom homes), which allows our owners and staff to personally get to know residents and their families. These are homes that fill with loved ones during special occasions, allowing all to take part in the activities and family environment that is part of the BeeHive Homes franchise.
Join our BeeHive family and benefit from our experience as you move from the initial stages of site selection through your operational and marketing training and into the day-to-day operation of your own home.

History
BeeHive Homes all began in 1987 when founder Twayne Walker built the first assisted living home in Meridian, Idaho. In response to a very limited number of quality care facilities, Twayne originally built the first BeeHive Homes assisted living home to provide his grandmother with quality care in a personalized, home-like surrounding.
In 1996, after nine years of delivering exceptional senior care in a residential setting, BeeHive Homes began franchising to others. BeeHive Homes became the first to combine assisted living homes and franchising, the two fastest growing trends in American business. Through the love and hard work of our franchisees and because of the unique product and quality of care given to our residents, BeeHive Homes has been blessed to expand its family to over 180 homes in twenty states.
