Overview
Bar-B-Clean specializes in offering barbecue cleaning, service, parts, and repairs, as well as new grill sales. Their mission is to promote a healthy, family-oriented lifestyle to clients while pioneering and leading the untapped barbecue cleaning industry.
Operating as a mobile home service business, Bar-B-Clean provides a service that customers desire but prefer not to do themselves, much like window cleaning or carpet cleaning. The target customer base includes anyone with a backyard barbecue, and Bar-B-Clean emphasizes the importance of professionally cleaning grills every six months to eliminate cancer-causing carcinogens left behind by old food and rat droppings, which pose health risks.
In addition to residential customers, Bar-B-Clean also capitalizes on business-to-business opportunities, serving HOAs, apartment complexes, office buildings, hotels, and Airbnb properties.
With a focus on the middle to upper-class demographic, Bar-B-Clean distinguishes itself from mom-and-pop competitors through its proprietary steam cleaning system and custom Stainless-Steel Polish, which establishes instant credibility and brand awareness. A proprietary CRM system ensures that customers receive appointment reminders and professional invoices, while also helping franchisees stay organized and efficient in managing their operations.

Training and Support
Initial Training
Training consists of a 2-day meeting. The first half of the first day is at our home office going over our 100+ page operations manual. Everything from starting their business, growing their business and being efficient in their business. Of course, training in marketing strategies, sales, sales pitch, technology, parts and new grills, etc.
The second half of the first day and the second day, we go out into the field with our operations manager and we train them on the technical side of the business. We will take apart 3 grills, show them the configurations and how we go about repairing the individual parts inside the grills. We will also go over the entire cleaning process. We will give the new franchisees an opportunity to see the cleaning process, take part in the cleaning process, then teach the cleaning process.
On-Going Support
- Business coaching where we meet once a month to go over a goal planning exercise, then review monthly numbers and discuss what is needed to stay on course to reaching those goals.
- Management of relationships with parts distributors and grill manufacturers.
- Proprietary CRM that handles customer info, scheduling, royalties, etc.
- Operations manager to help all franchisees and techs with issues they face in the field.
- Yearly franchise conference in January where the franchisees all come together to create plans for the upcoming year and share ideas that are working and not working in their individual areas.
- Regular virtual meetings with all franchisees.
