Competition
Our industry was decimated from early of 2020 through 2021. We had many cancellations and rescheduling's. Being able to accommodate up to 300 people was very beneficial. We stabilized in 2022 and 2023 but felt a dip in 2024. We believe that dip was a ripple from COVID when couples weren’t dating, therefore there were fewer engagements. 2025 bookings are far ahead of previous years. Other venues are not experiencing similar results. Clearly, our efforts to grow our SEO is delivering great results. Expectations for 2025 are to exceed 90 events.
Growth & Expansion
Brookside's expansive buildings and grounds allow the opportunity to expand the business operation. There is plenty of room for additional parking. The Barn houses the commercial kitchen on the ground floor. The second floor has a large open area that could serve as additional event space. Part of the Main Building has lodging potential that is partially complete. Berthoud is a great, central location. Northern Colorado continues to experience strong growth. With new residential and commercial development, and a young affluent demographic.
