BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

Motivated Seller Looking for Established Buyer/Partner

This business was established in the late 1970's to serve primarily as a clothing and textiles supplier to the Department of Defense. Over the years we have delivered millions of garments to the Defense Logistics Agency that supplies U.S. troops both domestically and overseas. We are currently looking to sell the business or enter into a strategic partnership with an existing organization that appreciates the value of "Made in America" branding. We have veteran management in place with decades of manufacturing experience and a capable, low overhead administrative staff.

Facilities
Our primary location is a fully air conditioned 70,000 sf facility. We also own an additional work/storage facility that adds 9,000 sf to our portfolio. In terms of equipment, we own and operate a state-of-the-art fully automated textile cutting machine with integrated compressed air functionality. We also own multiple laser guided sewing machines set up to ensure proper placement of critical design add-ons and promote maximum productivity.
Competition
This business is unique in that is one of a handful of domestic operations that is currently entrusted by the US government to manufacture specialized uniforms from very complicated patterns with elaborate design specifications. This business would be particularly well suited for purchase by an existing apparel company dealing with overseas supply chain issues that is looking to promote a greater degree of "Made in America" branding.
Growth & Expansion
Moving forward, this operation would likely benefit from a sustained push toward diversification into existing commercial markets so as to not be fully dependent on government contract work. We are primarily seeking a reasonable offer for an outright purchase, but are also willing to consider a strategic partnership with an established brand or organization to operate in a cut and sew capacity.
Financing
Seller financing may be considered with a well qualified buyer.
Support & Training
Existing owner is willing to provide 90 days of training as well as up to a year of telephone/consultation access for questions involving business management and/or future product setups.
Reason for Selling
Retirement of principals and the potential to focus on other commercial interest
