Exceptional Riverside County Hospice

We have an exceptional and operating CHAP accredited hospice agency located in Riverside County. The Seller has owned the hospice since 2011 with its licensure and certification in place. This Subchapter S-Corporation comes to the market with many pluses including an IEHP contract, a key employee in place, two owner operators, a book of business, and a West Los Angeles VA contract. The CHAP accreditation dates are from May 8, 2023, to May 8, 2026. The staff is unaware of the sale with the seller expecting the staff to stay with the Buyer post-sale. This will be an all-cash escrow transaction with the Seller not offering a Seller Financing option and not entertaining SBA 7(a) offers. The Seller will require that all escrow fees be paid by the Buyer and that the escrow timeframe be scheduled for a 30-day or less period. *

PRICING. The agency is priced at $700,000 USD. The seller will be adding an additional cost to be borne by the buyer which will include a $33,000 USD fee per each patient on service at the closing of the transaction. At the time of this writing (6/9/2024), the hospice has a total of 13 hospice patients. The pricing is based on the current market price for hospices in the Southern California area. *

MOTIVATION. The seller would like to focus their attention on ongoing research. *

SELLER PREFERS: (1) Buyer to have healthcare experience in operating a hospice and (2) Buyer to have the funds available to proceed with a transaction (proof of funds), (3) Buyer to have access to patient referral sources and to registered and licensed nurses. *

SELLER RECOMMENDS: (1) Buyer to have the ability to generate patient referrals, (2) Buyer to have the required professional team member(s), (3) a professional team member (i.e., Medicare Consultant, Accountant, Lawyer) to assist with the due diligence request/review. *
