BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

This is the go-to toy store in Tallahassee. 1 of only 2 specialty retail toy stores in Tallahassee. The other is in the mall and as of this writing, that owner is contemplating closing that store. We are well established with a strong reputation for offering quality items. Typically toy stores take in anywhere from 25% to 50% of their yearly sales in the last quarter of the year(holiday shopping). The best landlord in Tallahassee, monthly rent is the best retail rate anywhere. New owners will have to sign a 1-year lease. We have made strong connections with many of our customers and share a sense of community with them that is hard to match anywhere. I will be more than happy to act as a consultant for a specific period to help navigate the toy-buying processes. The decision to sell is based on family members becoming older and needing more intervention on my part.
There is no greater feeling than seeing a child connect with an item and the pure joy it brings them.
Inventory value will decrease as we go further into 4th quarter selling season.
Sale can be completed either now or at the beginning of the year when inventory will be at its lowest. The asking price is negotiable

Competition
There is only 1 other actual toy store located in Tallahassee. We are 1 of only 2 specialty retail toy stores - where toys are our main revenue. The other store as of this writing is closing soon but that could change if he changes his mind. We are located off of one of the busiest roads - Capital Circle NE - next to a very busy restaurant, across the street from another 2 busy restaurants, and a garden center.
Growth & Expansion
The store has held its own as we have grown both in reputation and inventory size. The economy has a direct effect on sales - mostly during 1st through 3rd quarters. 4th quarter is when sales take off.
Support & Training
Training for selling and ordering from each supplier and introductions to reps for each company we have ever done business with for a pre-determined amount of time. Limited computer skills are needed for the daily running of the storefront.
Reason for Selling
Family members are growing older and require more intervention than I can handle
