BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

Many people are amazed when they know of all the things we offer, that many services that we do, in addition to all the beautiful faith based decor, gifts and Bibles that we sell. We offer a copy and printing service, making everything from business cards, to invitations, flyers and carbonless sales forms. I have the files from years worth of customer order so repeat business is guaranteed. We have a high quality photo kiosk where customers can print their own photos! They love it and are so glad we offer that, as there is no place else in the area to get photos printed. We do a lot of engraving for customers and many organizations all over the surrounding area, again, with all of the past projects saved on the computer. All of my saved files are a gold mine and can be used to continue a good business income. We make trophies from scratch and love how fun and easy they are to make. l think people like that we hand make everything, and everything is made in-house. We can even make self-inking stamps in a day, which are always ordered by the area banks and notaries. Customers love the greeting cards we carry and we sell a ton of them, being only one of a few locations that sell them. I also sell a lot of photo frames to go with the photos that are being printed, many want them as gifts and again, we're the only one in town that sells frames. When we started the "praise" business, it was acquired from a local store that had been run by a lady for over 50 years, it wasn't until she passed that we were able to add all of that to our store, hence the name change to Print & Praise Shoppe, and now we have those customers as well. I don't think there's anywhere even remotely close to us that sell Bibles, prayer books for children and faith based gifts and memorials for funerals. But the person buying the store could do some of the things we do, all of the things, we do and even do more! There is lots of room for growth. I don't even advertise or do online marketing. The world is all out there if you want to use facebook and other avenues to promote your business!

Facilities
The store has the best location in downtown Algona, it is covered with an awning to protect customers from the elements, there is parking in front and a parking lot in the rear. It is filled with furnishings, antiques and beautiful displays. Many computers, a copier, a photo kiosk to print 4x6, 5x7 & 8x10 prints, greetings cards with racks, built in shelving; freshly painted in bright white. It is a one story building with a good roof that has just been re-coated. The big windows in front offer beautiful displays to draw people into the store.
Competition
There is a huge need for what I do and what I have to sell in the store, there is no one else in the area to print, engrave or sell what we have to sell. It would be truly missed in town. We are far from a big city so the slogan "shop local" is very much supported.
Growth & Expansion
I know I have been wanting to retire so I haven't advertised much or tried to really expand, the opportunity is there for the right person; with a compassion for helping people and knowing that faith and spirituality are strong values in the community and a new owner could do so much more to promote that. I don't do much marketing on facebook, etc. so even that could bring a lot more exposure.
Financing
The City & Local Utility Company both offer low interest loans to new businesses
Support & Training
I would be happy to help train on all the equipment and software programs so that there could be an easy transition. I also would be willing to work part-time if my help was wanted. I have years of knowledge and would love to pass this on.
Reason for Selling
Health reasons and want to retire. I built this business so big and now it is to
