Seeking Strong CPA with character to take on as a Majority Partner

The Seller is looking to take a step back to make room for a majority Partner. The Seller will stay on but in a reduced capacity in order to service a select group of clients. There are currently eight full-time employees, all of which will stay after the sale. Approximately 10% of clients come in for an appointment, 30% will drop off, 20% mail-in while the remaining 40% will remit their documents electronically. The current office space is located in a Class A, upscale, professional building. There is two years left of the current lease. Through June 2024, the practice has generated a gross revenue of over $1,000,000 in tax preparation/planning, bookkeeping, payroll, and consulting. Practice currently uses Lacerte for tax preparation as well as QuickBooks. The clientele will transition best to a CPA who has high quality detailed workpapers and good people skills; someone who is technically proficient with a strong background in tax and accounting.
