Loopr has been at the forefront of next level tourism using a custom-built technology infrastructure since it launched in 2016. Originally designed as a hop on/ hop off entertainment circuit with an app that tracks the geolocation of vehicles in real-time for convenient access, Loopr has expanded its offering to include a variety of guided tours and experiences, largely focused on the up and coming cannabis tourism industry.
The bus is a 29' Ford E450 with a brand new $60,000 buildout that was completed in late 2019, mere months before Covid shut down the economy. Designed with maximum comfort and legroom in mind, the booth seats are just a drop smaller than the maximum width that would qualify as a single seat under DOT regulations (avg seat side 26" vs 17.5" average in the industry) and the tabletops are extra wide to accommodate taller individuals. The perimeter includes 9 video monitors with HDMI and individual USB connections, and there is a refrigerator, 2 bars, a lavatory, lots of electrical and USB outlets, 3 exhaust fans, window shades, fiber optic lights and color change lights. I had a brand new Liquid Springs suspension installed for the smoothest possible ride. Because of Covid, the bus has barely been used since its purchase and build out.
The business shut down for Covid in 2020. Revenue in 2017-2019 averaged around $200,000 per year. The Loopr App can accommodate operations in multiple states and countries, and can be licensed to other operators if desired.
