Andrew prides himself on his time as a research scientist and the distinctive approach working in an academic laboratory has provided him. His unique “scientist-first” skillset allows him to successfully navigate a vast and complex range of transactions.
Prior to Transwestern, Andrew worked as the Senior Research Associate for the Marty Lab in Tucson, Arizona, where he co-authored a published Letter in Analytical Chemistry.
Peter Conte, National Director Lab + Life Sciences
Additionally, Peter oversees the Laboratory + Life Sciences group in the Bay Area. His breadth of local real estate market knowledge and a holistic, hands-on approach has earned him the trust of individual, investor, and family trust clients.
Before transitioning to brokerage and becoming one of San Francisco’s leading brokers in the life sciences space, Peter worked in research with the USDA and as a post-graduate Research Associate for the cancer research laboratory of Lexrite Laboratories, a privately run biotech connected to the University of California, Davis, gaining direct experience that benefits his life sciences clients.
Peter has also held broker roles at both Cushman & Wakefield and Grubb & Ellis Company, and worked in Wells Fargo’s Builder Division, where he gained insight into the financial complexities of commercial real estate and development. Some of his developer partners in the Bay Area have included Catellus Development, Santa Fe Partners, Lennar, and Emerald Fund.
